Ear mites really bother pets because they burrow deep into their ears and do 2 things. One is they open up the Inside of your pets ears for Infections due to bacteria entering the wounds when they bite. Signs that your pet might have ear mites include seeing black spots in the ear and your pet shaking its head repeatedly. In extraordinary cases, this will cause your pet to lose the facility to walk, though much of the time it just makes them walk in circles.

Identify if your pet has ear mites or not. If they are running in circles, shaking their head regularly or scrathing around their ears a lot, that’s a good sign there might be ear mites in his/her ears. Check in their ears for small black dots which are really dried blood from the damage ear mites cause.

To start getting rid of the ear mites, use an ear syringe, which can often be found at most drug stores, Fill it with mineral oil and then squirt 4 or 5 drops of the oil into your pet’s ears.

Rub the oil around gently by taking your thumb gently rubbing you cats ear lobe. This will cause the ear wax and the dried blood spots to start to split up in the ear canal.

Check to see If there’s still wax or blood. If there is take a cotton ball and gently dab the interior of your pet’s ear. It should pick up anything you may have missed.

Allow your pet to shake its head to remove part of the oil and ear mites that have made their way deep into the ear.
